About Me
I’m a producer, composer, and music technology tutor specialising in ambient music, sound design, and immersive audio.
With a background in drumming and a BA (Hons) in Commercial Music from Bath Spa University, my work blends rhythmic sensitivity with atmospheric detail, in both my compositions and my teaching.
Alongside my creative practice, I work closely with music students and emerging artists, offering tailored 1-to-1 tuition in Logic Pro, music production, sampling, and sound design. My teaching focuses on practical outcomes: finishing tracks, improving coursework, and developing confident, efficient workflows.
Under the alias Starat, I release ambient music exploring the intersection of organic texture and digital environments. My recent album was paired with an audio-reactive visual project built in TouchDesigner, extending the music into an immersive audiovisual experience.
